Brothers Osborne are still feeling the high from the success of their 2016 debut album, Pawn Shop, but they’ve finally released a new single! Just hearing it once, there is no mistake that it is John and T.J. Osborne. This song was written with Lee Thomas Miller, who has also worked with Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and several others. It was produced with Jay Joyce, who will be working on the rest of the album.
Brothers Osborne have a very original sound and there’s no mistaking it. This song has classic country influences. The vocals and guitar riffs will have you reminiscing about the days when Waylon Jennings was considered modern country. ‘Shoot Me Straight’ is nearly seven minutes long, but will be cut down to 3 to 4 minutes when it’s released to radio.
The duo has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for thier hit, ‘It Ain’t My Fault’. “I got up and as soon as I saw that I was wide awake…my adrenaline was just pumping,” T.J. Osborne told Taste Of Country. The Grammy will air on Sunday, January 28th on CBS.
