Miranda Lambert returned to Austin City Limits and as always she left the audience in awe. Lambert has been a staple in country music since her 2005 album, Kerosene. During live performances, she’s able to break your heart and put it back together.
‘Tin Man’, a ballad off of her 2016 album The Weight Of These Wings, quickly became a fan favorite after she performed it without her band and with just an acoustic guitar at the 2017 ACM awards. During her performance at Austin City Limits, she reminded people why. She kept it simple and it doesn’t matter how far away your seats were or where you were watching it from, she makes it feel like she’s singing just to you.
Lambert also performed ‘Vice’. This was her first release after her split with Blake Shelton and you can see her channel the pain that she used to write the song. It’s no secret that she’s a tough chick but she’s not afraid to let fans see her softer side.
Lambert also broke out some of her older material, as well. Her 2009 hit, ‘The House that Built Me’, seemed to be another fan favorite from this performance.
Miranda Lambert is nominated for 5 CMA awards including Female Vocalist Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Song Of The Year. She will also be performing at the award show this Wednesday, which will air on ABC at 8 pm. She recently announced her Living Like Hippies Tour, which is rolling through Jersey Country on March 22, 2018.
