Carrie Underwood & Brad Paisley To Return as CMA Hosts

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are returning to the stage to co-host the 52nd Annual CMA Awards in Nashville.

The two have great chemistry and have been known to take sensitive subjects and play with them through parodies, like last year’s  ‘Before He Tweets’. They’ve poked fun at politics and celebrities and just about any current event you can think of.

A fan favorite memory seems to be when they changed the lyrics to ‘Why Can’t We Be Friends’ to make fun of the feuds between stars beginning with their fellow country stars. “Luke Bryan and Zac Brown, nobody cares. You both make great records and you’re both millionaires,” they sang, referring to when Brown called ‘That’s My Kinda Night‘ “the worst song he’s ever heard”. The two immediately got up and hugged it out.

This will be the 11th consecutive year the two have teamed up for “country’s biggest night”. Vince Gill holds the record for longest run as CMA host with 12 years.

With Carrie and Brad as hosts, we don’t know what to expect but we know we don’t want to miss it! The CMA Awards will air on November 14 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
