Country Stars Spread Love After Multiple Shootings
Country artists are often known for their pride in America. That doesn’t change when our country is going through hard times. According to CNN there have been 23 school shootings so far this year and many of your favorite stars were quick to share their support for the victims and their families as well as for those who are taking action.
More than anything else, people who want to hurt as many innocent children as they can, use guns to do it. I wonder how long it will take our government to do anything at all. I wonder how loudly the voices of every mother in this country can scream til they do.

The Sugarland vocalist continued her thoughts with another tweet.
Plot twist: It is BOTH the broken people AND their access to the guns.
Idea: Why don’t we actually address BOTH? BOTH!!!!
At least we would be trying. Right now no one is trying. Only blaming. And actually each side has some logic: People kill people AND guns kill people.

Of course, Nettles wasn’t the only one to share heartbreak on social media. Cam was another artist that encouraged people to take action.
This is not the America we are capable of. Please get upset. https://t.co/Qg8DnfzOyU

While both Cam & Nettles hoped for change, Brothers Osborne seemed to be speechless and not very hopeful.
Nothing will be done.

These artists shared their concerns after the Parkland, Florida school shooting in February and since then, there have been more tragedies and more innocent lives have been lost. Here at Thunder106, our hearts are broken over all of the recent events and our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims as well as their friends and families. While we fear we may have a long way to go, we hope that we can truly come together as a country and help heal those who are in need.
