Jason Aldean Returning To Vegas For ACMs
After experiencing something like the Route 91 Harvest Festival attack, it’s hard to revisit the place where it happened. Jason Aldean is heading back to Las Vegas for the ACM Awards later this week.
“If we’re going to go back, I think the ACMs are the place to go back and be,” he recently told Taste of Country, “because you’re surrounded by all your friends and artists … You kind of feel like you have a support system there.”
Aldean was on stage when bullets began to zip through the air. Once they realized what was happening, he and his band fled for safety. His wife, Brittany, who was pregnant at the time was also in attendance. More than 50 were killed and more than 500 were injured. Aldean, Brittany and his crew were all safe.
Getting pregnant wasn’t easy for the Aldean’s. Brittany recently told Today that they conceived baby Memphis through IVF and getting pregnant was actually harder than the actual pregnancy.
Now, Memphis is several months old and doing well. The couple recently took Memphis and Aldean’s two daughters to the beach for some sun and family time.
Make sure you’re listening to the Afternoon Ride with Chris VanZant all week for you’re chance to win tickets before you can buy ’em to see Jason Aldean at Madison Square Garden on August 11th!
