NJ Woman ‘Pays It Forward’ For Keith Urban
Here is New Jersey, everyone loves Wawa. Urban stopped in a Medford Wawa before his show at BB&T Pavilion this past weekend and it turns out he’s no exception. While he was there, he even made a new friend! Ruth Reed, a NJ retired school teacher, was completely unaware of who he was when she decided to ‘pay it forward’.
“Three years ago, I made a resolution to treat somebody at Wawa once a week,” she told NorthJersey.com. “I have done that ever since. It is the best. I would encourage everybody to do it because it makes you feel good about you.”
When Urban revealed his identity, she was in utter disbelief! In fact, she needed Urban’s sister to confirm it before she believed him. Clearly, she came to realize that he wasn’t lying and the two took an adorable photo outside of NJ’s favorite quick mart.
“I said, ‘Yeah, well if you’re Keith Urban, where is Nicole (Kidman, his wife) and who is that woman you were with?’ He said ‘It’s my sister, let’s go ask her,’” she continued to tell NorthJersey.com
Kieth Urban’s latest single, ‘Coming Home’, has just gone up the charts to #1. He’s set to appear on The Voice as an advisor for Team Blake. Stay tuned to Thunder106 for all of the latest Cutting Edge Country!
