Zac Brown is opening a new chapter in his career. He announced a new band, Sir Rosevelt, and a new album! The new band is a trio consisting of Brown, Niko Moon and Ben Simonetti.
If you’ve ever seen the Zac Brown Band in concert, you know that Brown can conquer any genre. He’s covered Metalica, Allman Brothers Band, Dropkick Murphys and even Snoop Dogg. This new project seems to be leaning more towards the pop genre, although his performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live seems to be heavily influenced by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
This had many fans worried that this would be the end of Zac Brown Band, but Brown but those worries to rest. “Sir Rosevelt is a new chapter in addition to Zac Brown Band. A new outlet for creativity, connection and art. Get ready,” Brown said in a statement.
Many songs on Sir Rosevelt’s debut album are co-produced by Pharrell Williams or Timbaland. The album will be released on December 15th.
